Counselling, Coaching, and Support for Trainees and Students

Do you live in Leipzig and currently feel overwhelmed, stressed, or lost?

Vocational training and university studies can be exciting, but they can also bring a lot of pressure: exams, decisions about the future, relationships, self-doubt, financial worries, or the feeling of having to meet everyone’s expectations all at once.

As a counsellor, I offer trainees and students in Leipzig a safe space in my practice for talk therapy and life coaching, where you can find calm, gain clarity, and discover new paths.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

How I Can Support You

As a trained counsellor, I can support you with:

Or simply: if you need someone to talk to.

My Offer: Counselling & Coaching in Leipzig or Online

I offer individual talk therapy and life coaching for students and trainees aged 18 and over: empathetic, clear, and on equal footing.

In our sessions, we organize your thoughts together, develop new perspectives, and work on practical solutions for your daily life, both within and beyond your studies.

Ideal if you are looking for quick support without long waiting times.

What a Session Looks Like

In the initial consultation, we clarify your concerns and explore how you would like to be supported. Together, we define a goal and, if helpful, a timeframe for achieving it.

Each session lasts 60 minutes. You talk about what’s on your mind. I listen, ask targeted questions, and help you gain clarity and plan your next steps.

At your pace. Without pressure. Without judgment.

Who Is This For?

My work is especially aimed at:

You don’t need a “serious” reason. Sometimes the feeling “I want to change something” is enough.

About Me

I’m Anja, a counsellor and coach based in Leipzig.
I support (young) adults in managing stress, navigating emotional challenges, discovering their strengths, and building the confidence to follow their own path.

Originally, I come from an academic background. I hold a PhD in the life sciences and spent several years working at a university in England, where I managed a research centre with over 100 doctoral students and coordinated their development programme.

During that time, I realised that what interested me most was not just the research itself, but the people behind it, their challenges, pressures, self-doubt, and the impact that meaningful support and genuine listening can have.

This realisation led me to change direction.

I completed a two-year accredited training as a counsellor at Exeter College in England and then made a conscious decision to start my own practice. I now live and work in Leipzig.

In my work, I combine empathy, professional expertise, and a clear, solution-focused approach. It’s important to me that you feel safe and understood in our conversations, while also gaining practical insights that genuinely help you move forward.
