Strengthening Healthy Collaboration, Supporting and Retaining Talent

I help organizations, leaders, and teams improve collaboration, resolve conflicts constructively, and sustainably strengthen their employees.

By combining supervision, coaching, and counselling, I create effective solutions for complex work environments.

When Potential Is Lost

Employees are a company’s most valuable asset.
Interpersonal conflicts, overload, or personal challenges can significantly diminish this potential.

The consequences: reduced performance, team tensions, and, in the worst case, resignations, leading to considerable effort for recruitment and onboarding.

There is a better way.

Targeted reflection and professional support enable challenges to be recognized early and addressed sustainably.

My Approach

I work with two complementary methods:

1. Individual Counselling (as part of Occupational Health Management)

Confidential, professional support for employees facing work-related or personal challenges.

2. Supervision & Coaching for Teams and Leaders

Reflection spaces for collaboration, communication, and leadership.

Typical Situations

Often, the root causes are solvable, such as communication patterns, unclear roles, or individual stress factors.

Benefits for Your Organization

Individual counselling complements existing occupational health measures by addressing interpersonal and emotional topics where they matter most.

My Method

I work in a structured, reflective, and practical way.

The goal is to enable concrete changes in everyday work life – not just insights, but effective implementation.

Professional Background

My work is based on a combination of scientific training, leadership experience, and psychological qualification:

What this means for you:
I understand the dynamics of complex organizations from firsthand experience. This allows me to work not only on an interpersonal level but also with a clear focus on structures, roles, and organizational realities.

About Me

After completing my PhD, I worked for many years in academia. Until returning to Germany and starting my work as a self-employed Counsellor in 2023, I was at the University of Exeter (UK).

I was responsible for operational management, supporting PhD students, and developing partnerships between academia and industry in the Centre for Metamaterial Research and Innovation.
I also co-founded and managed the UK Metamaterials Network, a national network now with over 1,000 members from research and industry.

Additionally, I founded the UK PRISM Network, a platform for scientific management leaders to raise awareness of challenges such as career opportunities, job security, and recognition, aiming to shift the cultural perception of these leadership roles. Today, the network also has over 1,100 members across 100 organizations in the UK.

During my time at the University of Exeter, I led teams, coordinated complex projects, and experienced the dynamics of demanding work environments firsthand.

Alongside this, I completed a two-year accredited Counselling training programme at Exeter College, marking the start of my career transition to focus on what matters most to me: supporting people, understanding the core of their challenges, and developing sustainable solutions.

Today, I bring my experience from academia and management into my work as a Counsellor, supporting individuals and organizations with interpersonal, structural, and personal challenges in their professional lives.
