Strengthening Healthy Collaboration, Supporting and Retaining Talent.
I support organisations, leaders and teams in improving collaboration, resolving conflicts constructively and strengthening employee wellbeing for the long term.
By combining solution-focused supervision, coaching and counselling, I help individuals and organisations develop effective solutions for complex workplace challenges.
Psychological Counselling and Organisational Development for Businesses
Healthy Employees. Strong Teams. Sustainable Collaboration.
Team conflicts, organisational change and increasing psychological demands are part of everyday working life. When recognised early and addressed professionally, these challenges can become opportunities for personal growth, healthier collaboration and a more resilient organisational culture.
Typical Challenges
- Highly skilled employees repeatedly become involved in interpersonal conflicts.
- Tensions within teams affect collaboration and performance.
- Individuals or teams need alternative ways of responding to challenging situations.
- Leaders are faced with difficult conversations.
- Employee motivation and performance decline.
- High workloads increase the risk of stress, exhaustion and burnout.
- Organisational change requires employees and leaders to adapt to new structures and ways of working (Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing and Adjourning).
In many cases, these challenges are rooted in communication patterns, unclear roles, individual stressors or deeper underlying beliefs, formative experiences and internalised patterns that continue to influence behaviour.
My Services
I work with organisations through psychological counselling, supervision and coaching, offering practical, solution-focused support combined with a deep understanding of the psychological and interpersonal dynamics that shape individuals, teams and organisations.

Professional Experience
I have held leadership and management roles in research and higher education, including at the University of Exeter, the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts and Goethe University Frankfurt. Throughout my career I have worked with interdisciplinary, high-performing teams across academia and industry.
What This Means for Your Organisation
Having worked within complex organisations myself, particularly in higher education and research, I understand the realities of leadership, collaboration and organisational change from first-hand experience.
This enables me to work not only with interpersonal dynamics, but also with organisational structures, roles and the broader context in which people work.
About Me
Following my PhD, I spent many years working in higher education and research management. Until returning to Germany in 2023 to establish my counselling practice, I worked at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.
There, I was responsible for operational leadership, researcher development and building strategic partnerships between academia and industry within the Centre for Metamaterials Research and Innovation.
I also co-founded and managed the UK Metamaterials Network, which has grown into a national community of more than 1,000 members from academia and industry.
In addition, I founded the UK PRISM Network, a national leadership community for research managers, created to raise awareness of career development, job security and professional recognition within research management. Today, the network connects more than 1,100 members across over 100 organisations throughout the United Kingdom.
During my years at the University of Exeter I led teams, managed complex projects and experienced the realities of demanding professional environments first hand.
Alongside these leadership roles, I completed a two-year accredited training programme in counselling at Exeter College. This marked the beginning of my career transition and allowed me to focus on what matters most to me: supporting people in understanding the root causes of their challenges and developing meaningful, lasting solutions.
Today, I combine my background in science, leadership and organisational management with my work as a professional counsellor, supporting individuals, leaders and organisations in navigating interpersonal, structural and psychological challenges in the workplace.
